Easter Eggs for Sale

Easter is upon us once again and we are now taking orders for hand molded Easter eggs. Each egg is 8 ounces of your choice of peanut butter, cherry nut, coconut, maple nut, or chocolate, hand dipped and decorated. The Eggs are three dollars and will be delivered to the main campus Monday’s and Wednesday’s unless other arrangements have been made. You may order the eggs from Scott Jarrell by email at cjarrell@wvup.edu. All proceeds will go to benefit a non-profit organization in Ravenswood. -

Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU Project, will speak on “Copyright vs Community in the Age of Computer Networks” at 7 p.m., Feb. 17 in Room 113 of the Mineral Resources Building at WVU in Morgantwon. The lecture, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and jointly presented by the WVU Free Software Group and Association for Computing Machinery chapter.

Have you given much thought yet to what you will do or where you will work once you graduate?Career opportunities abound here in the Mid-Ohio Valley, with jobs ranging from the Federal Government and large healthcare providers, to Tier 1 and 2 network and technical support
On February 3rd, we will be hosting an event on campus featuring speakers from regional IT companies. They will discuss what options are available for you, and what skill sets you should develop in order to maximize your future in the IT field and in the region. At least one of these companies is looking to hire another technician in the immediate future. Of course, if you are interested in traveling, you could always consider going way down under for a job!
