CIT/BAT Program

Easter is upon us once again and we are now taking orders for hand molded Easter eggs.  Each egg is 8 ounces of your choice of peanut butter, cherry nut, coconut, maple nut, or chocolate, hand dipped and decorated.  The Eggs are three dollars and will be delivered to the main campus Monday’s and Wednesday’s unless other arrangements have been made.  You may order the eggs from Scott Jarrell by email at cjarrell@wvup.edu.  All proceeds will go to benefit a non-profit organization in Ravenswood.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg Criminal Justice Organization Presents Parkersburg All Stars VS The Harlem Rockets. This event will be held at the Parkersburg High School Field House on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00. To buy tickets, contact Chris Betler at cbetler@wvup.edu.

The WVU-Parkersburg campus is closed today due to inclement weather. Staff and Students need not report to campus today.

Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU Project, will speak on “Copyright vs Community in the Age of Computer Networks” at 7 p.m., Feb. 17 in Room 113 of the Mineral Resources Building at WVU in Morgantwon. The lecture, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and jointly presented by the WVU Free Software Group and Association for Computing Machinery chapter.

At least one of these companies is looking to hire another technician in the immediate future. Of course, if you are interested in traveling, you could always consider going way down under for a job!
